That "ignore" feature only applies to PMs. I already tried that route a few weeks ago and found out it does not apply to comments made on the board, just to incoming PMs.

While I apologize for disruption I have caused, I don't waiver from my belief that GL is gay. And you must understand that I don't think this is a bad thing. I would hope he isn't, but I think he is. The nature of his response is one of those things that make you go "hmmmmmmm...."

I'd also point out that things were pretty calm around here until he returned. Thus I think he bears the brunt of the blame for the deterioration of some of the threads.

And for the record, yes, I DID receive feedback.

Finally, while I refrained from reading "special" threads created by him and designed for me, and passed by anything that started with "hey asshole" or was a long multi-topic rant, I do think it highly inappropriate - even on this board - to engage in caustic commentary on sexual behavior, like "butt muncher" and "pole smoker."

Some people (like trav) can get away with it. GL can't. Why? Because GL is doing it exclusively out of anger, and it takes on an entirely different context. Such behavior actually formed my opinion on his sexuality (ie, "I don't want to be seen as gay, so I'm going to turn around and accuse other of these DISGUSTING things!).

Generally, speaking, what goes on behind closed doors is nobody's business. I don't share my business, nor do I want to know others'. In that vein, it is inappropriate to identify specific activities that would normally be private with the intent to demean. I think this has been GL's persistent means of countering my gay assertion.

When you've got nothing else, one resorts to base claims.

He certainly seems a lot less sharp and clever than he once was.

You are a liar. YOU started the comments about my being "gay" several months ago. You said I "swish" when I walk. You suggested when you came to Florida to visit that you and I "hooked up". Liar, liar, liar. I never even saw you when you came to Florida. Years ago on Cincinnati.com you used to say I was your "dream date". Gayness doesn't offend me. YOU offend me. You are arrogant, you think you know everything.
You used to seem smart, albeit smug and pompous. Your smugness was tolerable because at least your thinking was in the right direction. Now you come across like Eliza, and Nate. The very reasons you used for accusing me of being gay are so stereotypic you are a disgrace to all the gay community has achieved in the past 20 yrs in trying to bury stupid stereotypes. Your gayness is no one's business but your own. But YOU are the one who came back to the board telling Gae to "screw your head on right woman" and telling Lew he was fat and ugly simply because they disagreed with your precious same sex marriage issue. I lurked a few times after leaving the board in July and you continued to make comments. Pina mentioned why I left and your answer was to the effect I shouldn't have told anyone what makes me angry and it was fair game for you to "push his hot buttons".

IF I were gay I sure as hell wouldn't hide it and pretend to be straight bragging about encounters with friends at cabins in the Smokey Mountains. We didn't need to know about that, but you threw it out there pretending to be someone you are not.

Time to restore the ignore feature so that I don't read any more of your garbage.

Actually, this is the reason I decided to come back, because on my initial ignore, I did happen to see the word "Smokey" (sic) and felt it might warrant a read.

1. It wasn't encounters, it was an encounter. And it wasn't friends, it was one person. It was singular, not plural, and you are misrepresenting what I said and what happened several years ago.

2. She is not a friend. She is someone very special to me, and I have since said I regret mentioning her. She happens to know me better than just about anyone. In other words, there was no pretending about anything.

3.I never specifically mentioned what did or did not happen from a physical standpoint. Nor will I.

4.I wasn't bragging. I had an ulterior motive.

As I said, I very much regret mentioning her. As I said before, I'm sorry I did, primarily because it's unfair to her, and I left it open for people like you to abuse the information.

On the other hand, that you have to go back several years to (incorrectly) retrieve one singular incident to get your material to make you feel right pretty much indicates the desperation mode you are in.

I'm asking you to keep her out of it.

You forgot that I also called her a dumbass. Yes, yes I did. I called gae a dumbass. I think that was around the time I said trav had a small penis and he bought lots of guns to compensate for his "shortcomings." I also think I said some rather unpleasant things about gae's dirty, filthy smoking habit, too.

Uh, trav and gae, what kind of red do you drink?
